AAA Inspector Notes
Of course, a truly great steak house must have high-quality, flavorful, tender beef—that's a given. This one, however, excels in so many other areas. The artful presentations of the salads, appetizers and desserts delight the senses. Start with the snow crab claws and shrimp served with atomic cocktail sauce. The perfectly seasoned, bone-in steaks may be topped with classic Béarnaise sauce or something more creative like yuzu butter or bruléed bone marrow. Besides steak, the menu features Scottish salmon, Dover sole, Colorado lamb and bison. Filled with brown marble and dark woods, the dining room exudes a warmth lacking in some restaurants with a more modern look. Unique marble stands with glass-enclosed fire features add to the ambiance. The staff members consistently exhibit excellent knowledge of the menu.
