Founded in 1988 in a historic building, this brewery has the distinction of being the first in Denver. Today, the brewmaster continues the tradition of using unique ingredients in the beer, including green chiles and Rocky Mountain oysters. Start your evening by sharing some oven-glazed chicken wings, or the beer and cheese dip. For a hearty entrée, try the mac and cheese or the buffalo meatloaf. Lighter fare includes green chile soup, bison burgers and grilled shrimp salad. Walk across the street and you'll find Denver's historic train station. Be prepared for a lively and energetic atmosphere.
