Powerhouse Science Center

Powerhouse Science Center is at 1333 Camino Del Rio. This interactive science center, within a historic power plant on the banks of the Animas River, educates and entertains all ages relative to the concept of energy. Visitors can take part in a variety of engaging activities, such as designing a playground or a working robot, building a human-powered rocket or race car and using a 3-D printer. The Discovery Kids Zone is designed to inspire creativity in children under five.
