Pros: All of the buildings are of a high quality rustic elegance. The food was great. We enjoyed watching deer from our windows.
Cons: The signs to guide you around the place are not very good. We couldn't even figure out were to check in. If you don't keep a sharp eye out for the mailbox with the name on it out on the road, you won't find the entrance.
Pros: The staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating and always had a smiles on their faces--simply delightful! The flower gardens were spectacular and especially enjoyed the fresh produce straight from the vegetable garden. For those who enjoy fishing, bring a rod for snagging trophy trout in the pond.
Pros: The fantastic breakfasts were real B&B breakfasts, not cold cereal and mini-danish. The staff were super friendly and accomodating, the bed was fantastic, views beautiful. Location was outside of Durango, away from the noise and commotion of the city, but with easy access to anywhere you might want to go.
Cons: The only thing we would mention is the cleanliness of outside furniture. The property has wonderful little spots to sit away from other guests but often the chairs in these spots had dried berries (dropped from wonderful bushes surrounding the property) and cobwebs, making them unusable. Our private deck chairs also had to be wiped down before sitting on them.
Cons: The bed was horrible and fans from other rooms were noisy all night.
Pros: Loved the breakfast, it changed daily. The staff were amazing. The view was sensational!
Cons: Nothing! It was possibly a little far from Durango but that really is a tiny issue considering the beauty of the place.
Pros: The grounds were beautiful!
The breakfasts were wonderful!!
Cons: The hotel was a bit too far off the beaten path.
The bathroom was very small and inefficient for two people.
Pros: Location was secluded yet only 20 minutes from downtown. Property was beautiful and we'll maintained. Staff was excellent and very helpful.
Cons: The pillows weren't the most comfortable. Watch out for the snakes around the property. They are harmless garden snakes but if you are freaked out by them take precaution.
Pros: Much nicer grounds and facilities than show on website photos.wonderful breakfast
Cons: No library nook
Pros: This B&B was top notch. Every room was private and our furnishings were perfect. Every detail was well thought out. Breakfast was fresh and delicious!
Pros: The gardens are spectacular!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: The chefs Preston and Jackie cooked wonderful breakfasts
Cons: We loved everything
Pros: Peaceful setting. Great porch overlooking lake. Wildlife viewing. Attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and clean linens. Great breakfast in a very cool dining room. Very good value for the money.
Cons: In room coffee service could be improved. If you like grinding your own beans, you're in luck.
Pros: Beautiful place. Magnificent views and seclusion. One of th best places we've stayed in on our 31 day driving trip through 14 states. Great breakfast in the great house, home cooked!

Pros: Amazingly beautiful property and room. Jackie, the morning chef, was the highlight of our day; her laughter, wit, and wisdom made the stay so enjoyable, and her cooking is outstanding.
Pros: Friendly staff especially Jacqueline at breakfast made us laugh. There are short easy walks around the ranch and an excellent place for bird watchers. Its close to Cortez for Mesa Verdes.
Cons: We wanted a cabin so we could cook but the room is not really designed for cooking, there is a microwave and a coffee maker. The main building provide excellent buffet breakfast but its shut for dinner. We did find an excellent steak restaurant at the road junction from Cortez.
