Big Timbers Museum

Big Timbers Museum, at jct. US 50/287 and CR 196, contains dresses, photographs, dolls and musical instruments as well as household and farm implements representing the period from the mid-1800s to the present. Included among the collection of dresses is an 1890 lace wedding gown. Cowboy gear, artifacts relating to the Sand Creek Massacre, Fleagle bank robbery, Native American relics, 31 framed World War I posters and a rare Civil War flag are on display. The Transportation Museum features antique wagons, cars and trucks.
