Loveland Museum/Gallery, 503 N. Lincoln Ave. at Fifth St., contains exhibits relating to town history, including a 40- by 50-foot topographic map of the Colorado-Big Thompson water project and a display about Loveland’s Great Western Sugar Factory. Objects from the museum’s historical collection and private collections are displayed in the Fireside Gallery, and works by regional, national and international artists are exhibited in the art galleries. Special events take place throughout the year. Note: Backpacks or large bags of any type are not permitted.
Museum free. Gallery $5.
Hours: Tues.-Fri. 10-5 (also Thurs. 5-7 and second Fri. of the month 6-9 p.m.), Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-4. Allow 30 minutes minimum.
