Overland Trail Museum, e. of the Platte River Bridge at jct. I-76 and US 6, contains historical exhibits including an Evangelical church, blacksmith shop, house, print shop, one-room schoolhouse, barn, general store, barber shop, a 1930s gas station, household goods and Native American artifacts. The Dave Hamil Rural Electric Association building demonstrates how electricity changed rural America. Fossils from northeastern Colorado also are displayed.</br>Picnicking is permitted. </br>

Hours: Mon.-Sat. 9-5, Apr.-Oct.; Tues.-Sat. 10-4, rest of year. Closed Memorial Day. Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
