Pros: The location is great! Staff was friendly and knowlegeable.
Cons: I wasn't crazy about having to use an access card to get into the garage, walk outside, use the card again to get in the door to the hallway, and then use key to get in room. I understand it keeps the area safe, but it's a little overkill.

Everyone was very nice, and I'm sure there are some very nice and new rooms there, but ours was quite a bit older and the noises were off-putting as they kept us up most of the night. The location is right next to the Golden Peak lift, and there is an underground parking garage which was convenient. It is quite difficult to maneuver through the gates with your key and your cars, as in order to enter you have to push a button or use a key to get up the driveway. The breakfast area was a very large conference room with bright, fluorescent lights and bad atmosphere, but the food was decent for a free breakfast. The hotel was okay, but there are other places to stay in Vail that are much more appealing. I would recommend the hotel if you can get a cheap enough rate like we did, in comparison to the other hotels in Vail, and if you are vacationing here last minute.
Pros: The location.
Cons: Our room was old, which was okay, but there were terribly loud noises of pipes in the middle of the night which sounded like people breaking down our doors.

Pros: Fantastic resort in an amazing location. Very helpful staff and clean, well-stocked pool area.
Cons: No room service or amenities for purchase, though a restaurant is available on site for takeout and ibuprofin was provided for free by the nearby Vail ticket office.
