Pros: Coming in from Norwalk for an event at Stony Creek Brewery, hubby and I were just looking for a reasonable, clean, decent place to spend the night. Rodeway totally fit the bill. Like that it seems to be a family business, and the owner was affable and helpful.

Pros: Grocery store nearby. Everything in the room worked - lock, TV, micro, refrig., faucets, AC. Room was quiet, comfortable, clean linens, nice view of trees in back. Staff was very friendly, offering coffee, letting me know of flower garden/birdhouses/picnic table they have in back.
Cons: Room was modern and well-appointed, but bed a little too soft and lumpy. Property on outside needs PAINT. Looks very run down. (The doors to the rooms are well-painted, though.) BIGGEST issue - staircases. Uneven, unilluminated, as far as I could see. I took a bad fall on far staircase from lobby, injured foot so I could barely walk. (Am used to steps and walking, 1-2 mi./day.) These steps need to be EXAMINED by authorities, from square one. Depth, rise, lighting - everything. VERY hazardous! So room was comfortable, staff friendly, but safety on steps - a disaster.
