The Barnum Museum

The Barnum Museum is at 820 Main St.; due to renovations, the collection is temporarily housed in the People's United Bank Gallery behind the museum. Exhibits chronicle the life and times of P.T. Barnum. Included is a 3,500-piece scale model of a miniature five-ring circus, a replica of the Feejee Mermaid and “General” Tom Thumb's miniature carriages.
