Osborne Homestead Museum is 1.7 mi. w. via SR 34, n. on Lakeview Terr., then w. to 500 Hawthorne Ave., next to Osbornedale State Park. This was the home of early 20th-century businesswoman and conservationist Frances Eliza Osborne Kellogg. The furnished house, built in the mid-1800s and remodeled in the 1920s, contains American and European antiques, delftware and local silverware. Formal gardens, a rock garden, a rose garden and ornamental shrubs adorn the grounds. The Kellogg Environmental Center offers exhibits, programs and nature trails.
