East Haddam Historical Society Museum is 2.5 mi. e. to 264 Town St. (SR 82). Exhibits include works of sculptor Heinz Warneke, painter W. Langdon Kihn, actor William Gillette and events vital to East Haddam's history. Period photographs and artifacts depict the Moodus mills used during the Industrial Revolution. An agricultural exhibit also is offered. Guided tours are available by appointment.
