Connecticut Audubon Society Birdcraft Museum and Sanctuary is at 314 Unquowa Rd. This small natural history museum features wildlife dioramas and hands-on exhibits. Highlights include a honeybee observation hive, a collection of dinosaur footprints and displays about bird diversity. The 6-acre songbird sanctuary protects 120 species. Note: The museum and visitor center are closed and undergoing renovation; phone ahead for schedule. The sanctuary remains open.
