Pros: The outdoor pool was a bonus.
Cons: Lots of rules and regulations. Poor staff attitude (unusual for the US) - they even made us pay to look after our luggage after we had to check out at 11am on a Sunday! We only needed to stow it for a couple of hours but we were charged a day rate. The breakfast wasn't worth having. The furniture was past its best and it was old fashioned and chintzy - we expected a degree of that but not tatty.

Pros: Great location, beautiful building, comfortable and clean accommodation. Lovely pool.
Cons: All good
Pros: Picture perfect
Bed suite yard like English garden having lived in London
Having breakfast brought outdoors
Cons: Toilet paper too rough not soft
No grab bar in tub on third floor since 70 years old could not take shower for fear of falling and getting hurt
Saw owner and said bars on lower floors
Pros: I just spent two nights with my girlfriend, we had the most wondeful time. Manger, housekeepeing as well as Mrs Pearson were super-dooper charming, attentive, friendly and nice. We were taken care of in all ways, the room was amazing (expectedly though, as the whirlpool in the living room was the reason we booked). For breakfast we had all kinds of fruits, cereal, bread, scones, cinnebons, (homemade!!) etc.. AND Warm: whatever you desire, haha. First day I had scrambled eggs with bacon, my girlfriend an omlette with cheese and tomatoes, second day we took frittata.. both days unbelievably good!!) the house is stylish, very cultivated, (During breakfast they played classic music over their BOSE system - it was incredible!) I admit I was in a very good mood since I was there with my girlfriend BUT I am usually a very critical person and there was simply nothing I then complained about or would now. 100% recommended from us both. We will definitely COME BACK. Thank you Stanton Inn Team for a greak weekend!!
Pros: We stayed here for an anniversary weekend getaway and had a fabulous time. We look forward to returning. The Stanton House exceeded our expectations and we'd recommend it to anyone!
Pros: We made a last minute reservation on line and when we arrived we were informed that we had been upgraded. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The king size bed was luxurios--comfortable.
Pros: The comfort of the rooms giving you everything you would expect.

Pros: Warm welcome by all staff.
Family friendly (4 children).
Beautiful traditional house.
Pros: Beautiful setting. Centrally located. Very comfortable
Cons: Food options lacking. Breakfast sparse at best. Ability to offer a glass of wine in the evening would be a welcome improvement. As it stands your options are buy a whole bottle or nothing.
