Pros: The room was recently remodeled and was big (second floor, first room on left of front of building). Laminate hardwood floor, canopy style bed, big tv. Shower was very roomy.
Cons: the common areas need updated. Not in sync with room remodel. The Inn smelled from the restaurant and bar. Late night lounge singer was disruptive as the walls were thin. My biggest complaint was the room was not well cleaned. An empty bottle of Jim Beam under the sink. A used foundation make up bottle had been dropped on the floor by the sink and was left there along with tons of dust bunnies and hair (gross). Lastly, I arrived at night and Waze kept taking me to the police station. I kept driving by the Inn because it was so dark and their lighting was burnt out, you would never see it driving by at 30 mph at night. I mean it was pitch black. After hours on the road, this was lame. And did I mention this room cost $300 a night in the middle of CT?

Pros:
Cons: We were very disappointed with the housekeeping. One day we got back from sightseeing at 2:45 to find that our room was not cleaned. We notified the front desk and then someone came in to clean it to find that the bed had been just thrown together, the dirty towels were still in the bathroom and no clean towels were left. It was apparent that little had been done to this room. The following day was similar.

Pros: The Inn (and the grounds) are beautiful, and it was great to spend time there. Having the microwave and refrigerator in the room was also very nice.
