Fire Museum is off I-384 exit 3 (SR 83) to 230 Pine St. Displays are housed in a restored 1901 Manchester firehouse. Firefighting equipment and memorabilia include early hand pumps, an 1860s steam fire engine, badges, ribbons, Currier and Ives lithographs and a 1911 gas-electric water tower that extends 65 feet when elevated.
$4; $2 (ages 12-15); $1 (ages 6-11).
Hours: Fri.-Sat. noon-4, mid-Apr. to mid-Nov.; by appointment rest of year.
