Lutz Children's Museum is at 247 S. Main St. Hands-on, frequently changing exhibits for young children focus on culture, history and natural sciences. A permanent collection of small native, domestic and exotic live animals is featured. Take a stroll down 1943 Main Street and explore farm life from the perspective of a Connecticut child in 1850. There are hiking trails and educational programming at the nearby Oak Grove Nature Center.
