West Rock Nature Center

West Rock Nature Center is off Merritt Pkwy. exit 60, s. on Dixwell Ave., w. on Benham St., s. on Main St., then s. on Wintergreen, just past the parkway overpass and before the West Rock Ridge State Park entrance, 1134 Wintergreen Ave. A nature house sits on 43 acres of woods featuring Wintergreen Brook and Wintergreen Falls, trails, a meadow, and visitor center that is open for special programs.
