Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut is at 409 Main St. The hands-on museum gives young visitors from 9 months to 9 years of age an opportunity to explore, discover and create. At Seaside Village, kids can hop into a van loaded with beach gear, climb aboard a fishing boat and build a boardwalk. The Discovery Room features Kelsey's Vision, an exhibit that engages the senses and encourages children to learn about the sciences. There's a view of Long Island Sound from the highest perch of the outdoor Tree House and imagined views of the deep sea from inside an authentic research submarine. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
