Pros: Location/historic feel/really nice front desk gentleman. Also-we found out you are dog friendly-good for you!!! Wish more hotels were.
Cons: The walls are thin. You could hear everything from room to room and in the hallways. Also-just like in many, many hotels- when someone closes their door- it is very loud. Too bad someone hasn't come up with a way to silence doors when they close.

Pros: Well appointed rooms do not make up for acoustical problems. When asked upon checking out how our stay was, we explained we didn't get much sleep due to noisy room. Desk clerk said nothing, just walked away without saying anything. Terribly rude.
Cons: Walls were acoustically porous! We clearly heard TV in one adjacent room until 11:30 PM and again starting at 5:30 AM. Opposite adjacent room listened to man snoring all night. When using bathroom, it sounded like adjacent guests were showering with us.
