Classic. Since 1979, those en route from New York City to Cape Cod have made this quaint New England-style village restaurant their place to stop. The breakfast and lunch menu are large and quite good. Fresh local seafood is their expertise but guests also can enjoy a classic Reuben, bacon-lettuce-tomato or hamburger at lunch. Dinner entrées vary nightly depending on the daily fresh fish and meat deliveries. Some standard options include fresh rolled and cut-to-order fettuccine with basil pesto, grilled salmon with cucumber-dill yogurt sauce and broiled local scallops with butter and bread crumbs. The casual atmosphere is enhanced with cozy wood booths and original art works that are also for sale on the walls. The guest restroom is located in an odd spot through the kitchen.
