AAA Editor Notes
Judson House and Museum is at 967 Academy Hill Rd. The 1750 house is a good example of the clapboard-sheathed, post-and-beam construction that was typical of 18th-century New England. It is furnished in period. The adjacent Catharine Bunnell Mitchell Museum contains a genealogy library as well as exhibits from periods of Stratford's history.

Wed. and Sun. noon-4, June-Oct.; closed July 4. Genealogy library open Tues. and Thurs. 8-2:30. Last admission to house is one hour before closing. Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
