Historic. Named after George Washington, this restaurant honors the first president's passage through this small town in the Berkshire Mountains foothills. Built circa 1850, the once Colonial home is nicely decorated with many Washington-inspired sculptures and art pieces. The seasonal patio overlooks the river below. The chef uses the finest ingredients such as locally raised organic produce and grass-fed cattle in preparing such dishes as beef tenderloin tips, chicken pot pie and home-style meatloaf.
