New England Air Museum is off I-91 exit 40 just off SR 75, adjacent to Bradley International Airport at 36 Perimeter Rd. Displays in three hangars include more than 80 vintage and modern aircraft as well as aviation exhibits and memorabilia highlighting aviation technology, history and the stories of the men and women who built and flew the famous machines.
The 58th Bomb Wing Memorial honors the first men to take the B-29 Superfortress into combat during World War II. Also featured are open cockpits, build-and-fly activities and flight science demonstrations.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
