Alexandria's Footsteps to the Past tours depart from the Alexandria Visitors Center, 221 King St. On a 90-minute history tour, which covers about eight blocks, the guide shares details and stories about Alexandria's Colonial history. The 1-hour Historical Haunts tour includes tales about acquaintances of George Washington as well as 18th-century medical practices.
