Treasures of the Sea Exhibit, on SR 18 (Seashore Hwy.) w. of SR 113, in the library building on the Delaware Technical and Community College campus, displays jewels, gold and silver ingots and coins, bronze cannons and gold chains recovered from the ill-fated Spanish galleon Nuestra Señora de Atocha. Carrying an estimated $400 million in treasure, the ship sank in a 1622 hurricane. Videotapes chronicle the discovery of the galleon; visitors also may listen to a recording about the finding of the cannons.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
