Pros: Excellent room and services. I did not have any problems. I highly recommend this place to any person staying in Delaware.
Traveling as Couple
The staff was so kind and helpful and we appreciated the free weekend parking!
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located, super clean and contemporary. The elevators were small and wonky and our room was oddly shaped with weird angles, BUT for the price it exceeded our expectations.
Cons: No, everything was very nice.

We left some clothes in a closet and HOPEFULLY, the staff there have recovered as requested and held for pick-up.
Pros: Clean. Remodeled. Downtown in a tad shady area? Friendly. Limited food options
Cons: Parking a bit awkward but ok. Should be no charge for parking... Sundays uncluded
Family with Young Children
Pros: Cleanliness and appearance of room. Free parking on weekend.
Cons: Paid $15 for breakfast at reservation time; at hotel learned it was for only 1 person & only for a $7.50 sandwich & juice.
Traveling as Couple
Pros: Loved the staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Did not like that the garage was not attached. NOt the hotel's fault but not what I like in terms of safety and security.
Pros: My husband and I really enjoyed the bed and bathroom! The bed was very, very comfortable and the shower/bath was very, very clean. The room itself was very quaint. We had the standard room with the king bed, and we were impressed with the amenities the standard room had. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, desk, single coach, flat screen TV, two night stands, and a decent bathroom (the shower/bath was big but the bathroom was a little small). We also enjoyed that the TV had Netflix setup, so we took advantage of the ultimate, "Netflix and Chill".
We also enjoyed that parking was free over the weekend in the annexed garage.
We also enjoyed the convenience of the location of the hotel. We were in walking distance to two very good bars/restaurants and a few hotels/shops.
Cons: There were three downsides that we didn't like. The first downside was that we were facing a brick wall, so we didn't have the pleasure of overlooking the city and taking in that scenery. However, we weren't doing too much sight seeing (LOL). However, we would of liked the option of looking out over the city and taking in seeing the "city lights".
Also, the complimentary breakfast, wasn't very complimentary. The hotel had a bistro setup. Therefore, you had a choice of either one hot meal from a certain section of the menu and your choice of either a hot or cold beverage, or you could choose two cold items with either your choice of either a hot or cold beverage for each occupant of the room. If you wanted something extra from the menu, you had to pay extra for that item. In summary, the complimentary breakfast is not buffet style. We were not expecting that.
The last downside was that the parking was not convenient. Despite parking being free to hotel residents over the weekend, the parking garage was not connected to the hotel. So, we had to park and walk back to the hotel. Luckily, the weather was good and the walk was pleasant. However, if it was to rain or be very cold, we would have been miserable.

Cons: Location. Did not feel safe outside the hotel and in their parking garage
Cons: The most disappointing stay I have ever had at a Marriott property. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and the desk clerk said great because our suite overlooked the heated pool and fire pit, it didn’t it overlooked parking lot construction. The room was extremely cold , thermostat in Spanish or French, can't figure out how to get heat. Two phone calls to guest services and someone will be right up, never happens. I go down to front desk, they're sorry but we're really busy. They will send up car valet to fix, really, no maintenance staff? He comes but doesn't understand system either but will go to main controls to fix, never hear back. Ask for two blankets, they deliver them with a space heater. Run it for a while but uncomfortable running it in the bedroom all night, a safety issue.
No TV in bedroom so we have to sit in room to watch TV on the most uncomfortable couch ever, wrapped in blankets, no other chairs to sit on. Wife puts hand on couch to discover a needle and thread left by prior occupants glad it didn't break the skin. Paper cups, no glassware, no extra blankets in room, shower had black dirt or mould, and this is a suite.
Both of us keep waking up all night cold.
And you charge me $287.02 for the privilege of basic camping. Absolutely unacceptable. When I complain to staff, they’re sorry.
I request you comp the cost of the room and add some Marriott points to my account. Thanks
Pros: Clean. Not noisey
Cons: Price little high
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was plain but clean. The hotel was very busy and seemed understaffed, but front desk was still very nice and helpful to us.
Cons: The room was awkwardly laid out: It was difficult to get to the fridge or door with the desk located where it was. The room was long and narrow - easier for a single person than a couple in the room.
We were going to eat at the "Bistro" but that was more cafeteria style with a single menu printed behind the bar rather than table service. We opted to walk a few blocks to a grill and pub.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Clean & comfortable
Cons: Parking was a little inconvenient. Staff person was okay but not very friendly. She talked really fast and seemed generic. No real warmth.
Pros: proximity to city center
Cons: seems like staff you interacted with was a bit 'automated'; no real enthusiasm evident in anyone.
Pros: The staff, front desk and Bistro, were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was very small and tight for two people.
