African American Civil War Museum

African American Civil War Museum is in the Grimke Building at 1925 Vermont Ave. N.W., next to the African American Civil War Memorial. Photographs, original documents, clothing, weapons and newspaper articles depict the history of African Americans in the United States, with an emphasis on their participation in the Civil War.
