AAA Editor Notes
Center for Education and Leadership is at 514 10th St. N.W. across from Ford's Theatre, adjoining the Petersen House. Two floors feature exhibits related to the aftermath of the assassination, the search for John Wilkes Booth, Reconstruction and the evolution of Lincoln's presidential legacy. Temporary exhibits are displayed in the Leadership Gallery, where lectures are occasionally given.
Daytime entry requires a timed ticket; a limited number of same-day tickets (limit of six per individual) are available at no charge in person from the box office. Reservations are recommended as days and times do sell out, especially from March through July. Advance tickets are available online for a fee.
