DC In a Day Tour (Tour DC) departs from the Gray Line Terminal, on the bus level of the parking garage at Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave. N.E. The 9-hour excursion includes a tour of the United States Capitol (except Sunday). Monday through Saturday there are stops at the Lincoln, Iwo Jima, Vietnam and Korean War Veterans memorials and the White House Visitor Center. On Sunday there is a stop at the National Air and Space Museum or the National Museum of American History, Kenneth E. Behring Center. The J. Edgar Hoover F.B.I. Building, the Tidal Basin, the National Archives, the United States Botanic Garden, the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial and a number of government buildings can be viewed from the bus.
$50; $10 (ages 3-11); $115 (family, two adults and two children).
Hours: Tours depart daily at 8 a.m. Phone ahead to confirm schedule, as tours are sometimes cancelled &#160. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
