Pros: Location & Price were the only reasonable pros.
Cons: Let me start by saying this hotel is perfectly located in the middle of DC and the lobby is extremely chic but the location comes at a great price, namely overall service and room quality - There is a reason all the usual sites were offering rooms starting at $119 / night. Frankly, it is undeserving of a 4-star status, I would think it 's really a 3-star that scraped by on certain criteria to be 4-star. I grabbed a last minute deal for $145 in a Junior Suite checking-in on 6 May for one night. We drove from NYC-DC informing the hotel staff we were taking the scenic route and would require parking for a late arrival of initially 7PM and subsequently later at 10PM.Valet Parking - Arriving at 10PM I was waiting in the car for 5mins for the valet to arrive but to no avail thus i went into the lobby waiting an additional 10mins to find the valet and bellhop to pick-up our bags and park the car. A bit incredulous given it was 10PM on a Saturday evening with advanced notice and no other customers in the lobby to check-in.Room 406 - We stayed in 406. I would strongly recommend you to switch rooms or request an upgrade if staying here for a number of reasons. The closet mirror fell off the sliding hinges on the top when the bellhop was putting our luggage away, this was not his fault as it was already broken beforehand but made to look like it was in good working order until used. Once he left the room the mirror door fell in. After driving for 10 hours I wasn't up to raising a complaint and passed out but I took photos and raised it at check-out.Room 406 - The clock in the room was set 30mins fast. Normally I wouldn't care about something small like this but the hotel granted us a late check-out of 1PM. What bugged me was on 2 separate occasions we had members of staff (Bellhop & Housekeeping) arrive knocking at our door 30mins early telling us it's time to check-out whilst we were in the bathroom finishing up to leave.

Pros: The room was great. I received a notice that I could upgrade on arrival if something was available and it was. The room was very nice and the bed was quite comfortable. The water flow was great even in the shower. I liked the fact that it didn't take a long time to get hot. I do not remember the lady that cleaned my room but she was exceptional. She had a quiet demeanor but yet a very pleasing personality. We did not see her anywhere upon checking out but wanted to say thank you to her for her service. I also think the advertising for the hotel could be better. I had never heard of the hotel before so I was a little skeptical. It was absolutely wonderful and my whole family liked the accommodations.
Cons: I did not like the small tv in the closet area because I had to almost get out of bed each time to change stations. I think the batteries in the remote were probably weak. I think the rooms should have at least 4 face towels. My husband had no other small towel to use after shaving so he would use mine and then there was no towel to bathe with.

Pros: Nice boutique hotel. Good location if you are going to Georgetown - about a 15 minute walk to the heart of the shops. Metro stops are a short walk away to get to other parts of the city. Had breakfast in the restaurant and food was good. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: The suite was very large with a full kitchen, very clean, comfortable bed. Great location for the price. ALL of the staff was super friendly. I would stay again.
Cons: There weren't enough dishes/utensils if you have more than 1 or 2 people. The A/C did not cool very well at all. $42/night valet parking was high with nearby lots charging at least half that much.

Cons: I was given a room that was on the 2nd floor directly over the front door - very noisy street and pedestrian traffic below window. I was also given a room that was part of a divided suite - with a retractable wall and a very low, fold-down Murphy bed. Given a bad back, I requested a regular bed and I was told there were no rooms available.
