The specialty here is fish. Raw bar offerings are wonderful with enormous, plump and juicy shrimp and a variety of different types of oysters. The kitchen is skilled in the preparation of seafood dishes. Filet mignon and a chicken dish also are available. The restaurant is set along the C&O Canal in the Canal Square complex. The building, originally constructed in 1842, is the birthplace of the first computer, a punched-card tabulating machine used in the 1890 census.
