The hotel was fantastic! The location is optimal for visiting a number of important museums including the Museo Tamayo and the Anthropological Museum. The rooms are spacious and airy and the health club and pool were great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when my daughter was felled by a 24 hour bug. The hotel doctor even made a house call! We loved the sunny terrace cafe. The concierge service is optimal and offered great choices for restaurants and shops close to the monuments we planned to visit. All in all we had a lovely visit to Mexico City, and the hotel was a great part of the whole.
Pros: The hotel had beautiful, airy rooms with views onto a central courtyard. The terrace cafe in the courtyard was lovely! The concierge staff was wonderful with advice for museums, restaurants and shops, and even advice for negotiating the subway system!
Cons: We were more than satisfied! The only problem was the 24/7 construction of a highrise building next door.

Very Good

Pros: The staff and service. Everyone was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The ability to check in our bags and freshen up at their health facility after check out was also a huge plus.
Cons: We weren't aware that the garden -- which appears to be the hotel's main highlight -- would be under renovation. That was a disappointment. Also our room key stopped working every night so we would have to trek back down to front desk to fix it.

Pros: The staff was super friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The courtyard view was beautiful and quiet.
Cons: The flagstone around the pool needed to be cleaned. My feet were very dirty after walking around barefoot.

Pros: Terrific bar, great lounge, beautiful courtyard. Awesome rooms. And the restaurant Ill Becco is in my top 10 worldwide.
Cons: The car arrival is a bit gloomy and does not reflect the awesomeness of the hotel.

Nice with a hiccup
Pros: The restaurant, the staff and the design of the hotel
Cons: We were put in a room with v strong noise of water pump in late night and had to ask for a different room.
