Pros: The personnel are the best. They can't do enough for you. Both restaurants serve excellent food. This was our second stay at The Gran and we will definitely be returning. The location is the best. Many musuems, stores, restaurants and historical places within walking distance.
Cons: The bar could not come up with an Old Fashion or Whiskey Sour.

Pros: We stayed for 3 nights and loved the hotel. Old and gorgeous and in exceptional condition. Staff were fantastic from check-in to check-out. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Certainly not a typical modern hotel but we weren't looking for that. Location is great to explore the Zocolo and nearby museums and easy to get on the metro which is an easy way to get around to other parts of the city.
Cons: We stayed on level 2 right above the function room. On both the Friday and Saturday nights there were big, loud and late functions in the room and the noise really travelled through the old walls. If you're a light sleeper stay on a higher level.
