Diego Rivera Studio Museum (Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera) is on Calle Diego Rivera, across the street from the San Angel Inn (Metro: Miguel A. de Quevedo, line 3). Designed by architect Juan O'Gorman in 1931, it was Rivera's last home, where he died in 1957. Surrounded by different kinds of cacti, it has interior and exterior staircases leading up to the artist's large studio, which contrasts sharply with the small bedrooms. A roof bridge links the house to one occupied by fellow artist and partner Frida Kahlo. Temporary exhibitions are mounted.
