Pros: The staff were like friends. Accommodation is excellent. .
Cons: A private shuttle service would be good. An ATM providing US dollars would have been perfect
Pros: Good place, nice location, quiet, good rooms, great bed, great beach.
Cons: Service is very very very slow. Always had to wait at least for and hour before we got the food or drinks. No service at the beach at all.
Pros: The staff was really nice and the hotel facilities were amazing
Cons: If you don't go in a all inclusive plan, the prices for food and drinks are way too expensive for the quality.
Pros: Staff always available and trying their best. Location on a nice quiet beach.
Cons: Limited choice in food. Mosquitoes biting you night and day unless you continuously sprayed yourself with repellent. In spite of being always nice, staff lacked better training. Service always very slow. For the same price one finds better alternatives in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia.
Pros: The view from the balcony, the walks along the beach. Presentation of food and taste. Massages at the spa. Sparkling wine on arrival and in the room. Incense in the room. Comfortable bed.
Cons: For a Small Luxury Hotel, too many dishes either off the menu completely or the hotel presented the dish with half the ingredients missing - all of them available in DR, so felt like the hotel was cutting corners and hoping no one would notice. It might not bother you if you were on an all inclusive plan, but it bothered us who were not. The food itself was very tasty and well presented. Could do with more attentive staff - there were plenty of them, but they probably just need more supervision and spend less time chatting to one another.
Cons: food not that good and not inclusive

Pros: I liked the property, the service, the cleanliness of the beach, and the decor.
Cons: I didn't like how overpriced food, drinks, and spa services were, especially for low season. They would have more clientele if the room rates were better as well.
Pros: Myself and my fiancé had an ocean view room and it was fantastic! Rooms were huge, air conditioning worked very well, big shower and tub that we're perfect unreal haha love the shower!! King size beds were big and very comfortable. Breakfast breads and Danishes to the room every morning, with coffee and juice. Excellent snacks provided daily to the room. Room service was available any time we need anything from food, toothbrushes, aloe vera, and towels. Anything you needed was supplied to you and very promptly. The staff was amazing, can't ask for anything better from them. They do anything for you and are very pleased to look after you and see you everyday. The pool was really nice, we spent most of our time relaxing and suntanning by the beach :) Food was amazing, 5 star. Everything, breakfast, lunch, supper and especially the restaurants we're all fantastic. Haven't had better food at any resort I've been too. The resort was nice and secluded, I believe less that 70 rooms the beach was quiet, not many people were loud or rambunctious. Perfect location to get away and relax and spend some alone time with the one you love. I would say it's definitely a couples resort or retreat. Great place to relax and get away!
Pros: Excellent spacious rooms
Well fitted bathroom
Very good value
Cons: Service was slow but you're not in a hurry.
Not the hotels fault, but as it's on the Atlantic coast, the sea is very choppy: better for surfing than swimming.
Food was fine when simply cooked e.g grilled fish, but more cheffy dishes were a bit hit or miss.
Pros: Perfect place, beautiful nature, very comfortable rooms, mini-bar filled with good wine and champagne. Peace and birds signing. We were lucky to get ground floor suits overlooking to the ocean, with our own small pool and it was incredible and unforgettable!!!
Nice and merry people working and staying in the hotel!
Complimentary breakfast left at your door besides the main breakfast!
Some plates in French and Panasian restaurants were really great.
!!!! Place, rooms and drinks are practically the BEST I've ever seen!!!!
With a bit better food it is just a paradise:)
Our great thanks to Mr.Franklyn and Mr. Johnatan, also to bartender Mr. Roberto.
Cons: In general food was not as good as we could expect. Very limited choice for lunch and unfortunalelly you never sure about quality of it (as well as about room service food quality). The way to cook some plates in Laveranda was also so-so far from 5-stars.
Staff tends to forget every third thing but I think it is normal for relaxing Dominicana (another hotel we stayed was the same). It can be a bit annoying if not to know.
Pros: Perfect place to get away from crowds, little heaven that allows you to forget the rest of the world and just enjoy food, weather and all the things that Dominican Republic has to offer. :)
Cons: As described in other reviews, the food and catering options are limited - only way is to order everything. Food is pricey, there are no other options to get to close by so if you plan to stay in the resort - all inclusive is mandatory.
