Panhandle Pioneer Settlement, 17869 N.W. Pioneer Settlement Rd. in Sam B. Atkins Park, features 18 historical buildings that have been moved here from various Calhoun County locales. The restored structures were built between the 1820s and 1940s and contain historical furnishings and collections. Monthly events and festivals are held where old-time chores and skills like blacksmithing, woodstove cooking and quilting are demonstrated.
The concession stand is only open during events. Guided tours depart from the Post Office and General Store.
