AAA Inspector Notes
Originally designed by Addison Mizner, this sprawling resort has been a staple in the community since 1926! There is a water taxi and shuttle available to escort guests to and from the Beach Club. This magnificent property, resting on more than 350 acres of meticulously manicured grounds, offers guests a slew of upscale amenities and facilities to use at their leisure. There is a world-class spa, a beauty salon, 30 clay tennis courts, three pools, a plethora of water sports, a children's club and a state-of-the-art health club just to name a few. Just think...while the ladies are at the spa, the guys can play some golf and the kids will be entertained at the activities center! Leisure guests aren't the only ones who enjoy this resort. Business travelers tend to flock here due to the abundance of function space, which is more than 300,000 square feet. First and foremost, the guest always comes first as the staff prides themselves on service. With approximately 2,000 employees there is rarely a stone that is ever left unturned. Smoke free premises. 835 units, some two bedrooms, three bedrooms and kitchens. 2-26 stories, interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: The room was nice and clean.
Cons: Most of the facility was closed for repairs. The Tower, the pool, and all but one restaurant were closed during our stay. I paid for a resort.. not a room.

Pros: This hotel and spa are world class, on the expensive side, but that his what to expect from such amenities. The beach is sandy and the resort staff are very attentive. Serendipity 3 at the main resort is a great place for a quick fresh snack, coffee.

Pros: Attractive facility.
Cons: Desk Staff was for the most part rude. Valet parking way too expensive. Mother's wallet was pick pocketed on the premises. Big puddle of water on a marble floor caused a very bad fall. No one seemed to know anything about anything. Waited over an hour past the reservation time for the very fancy restaurant onsite. $25 for a basic martini. I have been to 5 star hotels my entire life. not sure why they are so greedy.
