Pros: Very nice and clean !!
family with young children
Pros: Chris was helpful and nice. That's about it.
Cons: You're better off staying closer to the public beach. Staff was very rude when we went to check in We wanted to cancel our room and go back to treasure island but we were informed that it was too late (their 72 hour rule) The place was crowded. I couldn't find a chair to sit on while my daughter swam while we waited to check in "Island view" is actually a view of a gas station and the street. I never would have paid $907 for 4 nights if I knew it wasn't an ocean view The "beach" is a joke. The hotel itself is big and the beach isn't even a quarter the size of property. Plus, there's construction equipment blocking the view looking out towards the ocean. There's jet skis in the water, taking up the little space there actually is. You have to pay extra to use the chairs and umbrella. There's a $20 per day resort fee and you still have to pay for everything We had no cold water in room 527 There's no full length mirror in the room or bathroom There's one place to hang your towels. As a woman, the shower wasn't very convenient when you need to shave your legs The pictures posted on this website are very misleading.

Pros: This was a short 3 night birthday trip for my husband and I. Pros: All in all it's a great beach front hotel... for the off season or during the week. We went Sunday - Wednesday in September and with how small the pool and beach was, we were thrilled we came then. The room was very comfortable and we were on the city side up on the 6th floor which was PERFECT. Over looking the gulf/beach wouldn't have been as private - as everyone in the pool or at the bars could see you in your balcony. We prefer privacy. So that was a plus. Bed was very comfortable too- we requested a king bed instead of 2 queens- worth it. We both loved the beach area because of how private it was. No more than 8 people at a time when we were there. Very relaxing. Chairs and other rentals are available in that area. The outdoor daily live music was great .. classic rock cover bands and reggae too. You'll never go thirsty at that place - there's bars everywhere you turn, along w a night club - we did not visit that. Another plus was the seafood buffet.. no it's not you're average $25 all you can eat. For 2 people you'll spend $80 before tip. But it is SO worth it. Great food selection. And who can complain about all you can eat crab legs?! It was definitely a fun 3 days.
Cons: Cons:Ok, there's a resort fee added in.. we couldn't figure out why - you literally pay for EVERYTHING that's at the hotel. It's not a resort where it comes w benefits because guests can come and use the same amenities if they don't stay there, like the club. The only thing we didn't pay for was valet parking on site. We both think the resort fee is useless. Could have came w a free drink on arrival or something to give you that resort feel. Another con is the pool area. It was off season and it was so congested. I guess we both prefer something more spaced out - a bigger pool would have been nice. If you don't mind swimming right next to people all day long then you probably won't list that as a con. If you're a smoker you have to use designated areas outside the pool area. I smoke - but I do not smoke inside even at my own house.. but to not be able to use the balcony was majorly inconvenient. If you're an adult, you should be able to get an ash tray and smoke outside. Shut the door to the room that way it doesn't go inside and do your thing. I had to keep going downstairs it was a pain in my butt - not very relaxing. So if you're not a smoker and you don't mind a crowded pool area maybe this is a fabulous spot for you. It was all in all a good trip, but w some cons for sure. Probably won't stay there again, as we like to try different spots every time we travel. But we would definitely recommend this place to someone who hasn't stayed there yet. Just be ready to spend money.

Pros: Didn't at all enjoy having the band playing under my balcony till the wee hours of the morning.wish I had known so I would not have paid the extra money for a beach side room.
Cons: Too many college kids partying and the idea of my companion and I having to wear bracelets like college kids ( we are 63 and 65 years old respecrively) was more than we were willing to indulge in. Apparently there are many gate crashers and the clientele is not being controlled by management. My companion and I noticed the majority of the patrons had NO WRIST BAND ON.
