The covered patio is a popular place to enjoy a hearty meal. A bustling crowd can be expected out there on most nights. The indoor dining room is small but offers solace from the Florida heat. Traditional favorites can be found throughout the menu, but some twists on the originals also are popular. It is recommended to start off with fried pickle chips or fried green tomatoes. I chose the latter and was glad I did. The tomatoes were so juicy and sweet that I thought about getting another order. Joel's crazy pork sandwich is an easy choice if your looking for a sandwich. Get some fried okra on the side with the signature horseradish sauce for dipping. There is a children's menu and breakfast is served on the weekends.
