Coral Gables Museum, at 285 Aragon Ave., features exhibits about the city and the civic arts, including architecture, design and development, inside the 1939 coral rock facility that used to house fire and police services. An audio tour by cellphone is available in English and Spanish. Guided tours are available.
$10; $8 (students and senior citizens with ID); $3 (ages 6-12); free (ages 0-5, military families and to all first Fri. of the month 6-10 p.m.). Off-site tours $10-$40. Schedule and fees may vary; phone ahead. Reservations are required for canoe tours.
Hours: Tues.-Fri. noon-6 (also first Fri. of the month 6-10 p.m.), Sat. 11-5, Sun. noon-5. An exhibition tour is available Sun. at 1. Off-site tours include a walking tour Sat. at 11, a bike tour every third Sun. at 10 and a canoe tour the last Sun. of the month at 9:30. Closed major holidays.
