Quiet Waters Park is 2 mi. w. from I-95 via SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd.), then .2 mi. s. on SR 845 (Powerline Rd.). Within its 430 acres this water-oriented park offers boats for rent, freshwater fishing, pre-setup tent camping, shelter picnicking, a mountain bike trail, a playground and cable water-skiing. A children's water playground also is available. A fishing license may be required for over 16 years of age. The park is the site of the Florida Renaissance Festival, held 6 weekends starting in early February. Food is available seasonally. Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
Mon.-Fri. free; Sat.-Sun. and holidays $1.50 per passenger ages 6+, with an $8 maximum.
Hours: Park open daily 8-7:30, during DST; 8-6, rest of year. Office open daily 9-5:30. Closed day after Thanksgiving and Christmas.
