AAA Editor Notes
Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, 170 N.W. 5th Ave., is the former home of Solomon D. Spady, principal of the area's first African American high school when it opened in 1937. Spady's career achievements in education and community service as well as the cultural diversity of Delray Beach and Palm Beach County are chronicled in a series of exhibits that include photographs and artifacts. A monthly narrated 2-hour trolley tour also is available.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
