Just off of the Ave of the bustling downtown district, this eclectic restaurant is set in a historic home and has received countless rave reviews and accolades since opening in 2000. The restaurant is divided into a few different dining rooms, all with their own subtle theme. Original wood floors, vibrant hues and eccentric artwork highlight the restaurant's décor. The courtyard is the ideal place to dine with lights strung from tree to tree and some tables surrounding a massive tree. The menu is very diverse with such delicacies as blue crab cakes, roasted duck with Cointreau glaze, sushi-grade ahi tuna, salmon, blackened redfish and beef short ribs. The beef and pork products are all natural and the produce is hand picked. Sweet endings to a fine meal include Nutella crème brûlée and Dada s'mores. The service matches the décor—eccentric. The staff members definitely have personality.
