AAA Inspector Notes
The main house, originally built in 1856, served a prominent role in the island's history serving as Confederate headquarters and hosting President Jefferson Davis on many occasions. The annex house was built in 1859. Guests can relax in rocking chairs on the porch looking out over large old oak trees and a garden area in back. The property is furnished in antiques, with each guest room individually decorated.
