Pros: The hotel was quiet and the room comfortable. Breakfast offerings were diverse and plentiful. The location in downtown Fernandina was perfect---just across from the harbor area and within easy walking distance of the Welcome Center, shops, and restaurants
Cons: I was not impressed by the desk clerk who checked me in. She offered the guests entering ahead of me maps and a guide to businesses and their locations but did not do so for me. She also did not inform me of the hours for breakfast.

Pros: The attention to detail by the staff was amazing. They left encouraging notes, always friendly, and would even wait until we went out for the day before cleaning our room. I loved the complimentary breakfast! They had so many options.
Cons: The only thing that had us worried was leaving the hotel and not being able to get a parking spot when we came back.

Pros: This hotel was in close proximity to the beach and the marina and all of the downtown shops and restaurants, which made the location ideal. I also liked the fact that there was free parking.
Cons: We arrived 30 minutes early and our room was not ready, which was acceptable, but frustrating. But 30 minutes after the designated check in time of 3:00, our room was still unavailable. We were tired from the long drive and wanted to get changed.

Pros: We enjoyed our little Memorial Day get away. The Hampton Inn and Suites Bay Front was beautiful both inside the hotel and the scenery outside. The only thing was there's no beach access there and I love to walk on the beach. That was the only disappointment.

Lots of fun and comfortable...
Pros: I stayed here for one night visiting Amelia island in the one king room with the whirlpool, which was awesome! Was there Sunday and parking was easy, location is great with all the shops and restaurants right there. Front staff was nice but the gentleman in the breakfast area cleaning up at night (sorry I forgot your name) was even more pleasant to speak with. He works 3 jobs and still has a smile on his face, that's what I call customer service. Will be back.
