History Museum Fort Lauderdale, 231 S.W. 2nd Ave., presents exhibitions of artifacts from pioneer times to the present. The changing exhibits, archives and library offer information about local and regional history. The H. Wayne Huizenga Business History Center offers special exhibits. Guided tours of the 1899 Replica School House and 1907 King-Cromartie House, a museum of pioneer lifestyles, are available. Guided walking tours of the historic district are offered by reservation. Boat tours on the New River and guided bicycle tours also are available.
