AAA Inspector Notes
This may be the most family-friendly resort in the area! On the ocean and away from the hoopla of Fort Lauderdale Beach, this resort has an upscale appeal while maintaining a comfortable casualness. Upon entering the lobby you are immediately struck with breathtaking views of the ocean. The lobby extends to an outdoor covered veranda that overlooks the beach lending itself to an Outer Banks appeal. There are rocking chairs lined up and down the deck, which is the ideal place to have your morning coffee or spend an afternoon reading a book. The kids will play all day in the pool, float down the lazy river (the only one in Fort Lauderdale, I might add) and build sandcastles on the beach while you get your massage in the spa! The spacious guest rooms feature warm colors, upscale bedding packages, light wood tones and flat panel televisions. Smoke free premises. 156 units. 11 stories, interior/exterior corridors.

Pros: The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Beds were like clouds. Beach service with umbrellas, chairs and towel were worth the resort fee. They even had surf boards and paddle boards to use. Loved the guitar player on the veranda during happy hour. Cannot wait to return.

Pros: The views from the hotel is amazing, the porch on the back is so nice to go out watch the stars at night! We were lucky with a full moon, it was beautiful. The valet was awesome! The front desk upgraded our room since it wasnt ready at checkin, and she gave a beautiful room with oceanview! Worth the wait of 30 minutes!!!!!!!
Cons: This is our second time here and the the wait service on the beach wasnt as good this time!!!!! Wish there was more staff to service the beach and pool like two years ago when we were there!!!!
