AAA Inspector Notes
As the name implies, it's all about modern coastal fare here—with an emphasis on local seafood. The menu includes a raw bar with an impressive selection of oversize Florida stone crab claws, oysters, and Cedar Key clams. For dinner, the snapper, black grouper, and lobster pappardelle pasta are signature favorites that are worth trying when available. They also offer a good burger, steak and pork chop for those inclined to dine by land rather than sea. Don't miss any of the desserts made for two or more, including their Key lime pie. The staff members are super friendly and will assist you in choosing one of their craft cocktails or local brewed beers. The contemporary market style design not only feels hip and chic but also casual and approachable enough for vacationers as well. This restaurant offers diners lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows. Or, guests can dine on the terrace where they'll be just a step closer to the water; people-watching could be interesting. Complimentary 2-hour parking is offered with a restaurant receipt.
