AAA Inspector Notes
Often voted as the area's most romantic restaurant, this café is nestled right across from the beach. Aside from the gorgeous ocean views, the romanticism is accentuated by the dining room of Moroccan-inspired décor with soft Mediterranean lighting, a fireplace, lush foliage, rich fabrics draping the windows, high ceilings, cast iron accents and soft music. An extraordinary menu combines influences from Morocco, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Spain, Cuba, the Caribbean and Louisiana Cajun country. The menu features an abundance of items with fresh and authentic ingredients. Such specialties include escargot, Maine lobster, lamb, duck, alligator and Chilean sea bass to name a few. The service is casual but very adaptable to your every need. The stylishly-attired staff is proficient with wine pairings as well as quick to offer suggestions that are appropriate to your mood. You may choose to dine upstairs or on the patio, which offers a more casual experience. This is a great place for a date, a night out without the kids, people-watching or even just a casual lunch with friends.
